GURMAN'S ASSAM TGFOP, black tea

Assam tea is a black tea named after its region of production, Assama (India). Assam tea is the local tea of this state - the initial efforts to plant chinese varieties of tea in the soil of Assam were unsuccessful. India is the second largest country producing the most tea, as it has an extremely favorable climate for tea trees to flourish. 

In the Assam region, during the monsoon period, as much as 250-300 mm of precipitation falls per day, and the daily temperature rises to about 36 °C, creating conditions similar to the greenhouse effect, in which there is a huge amount of humidity and heat. Such a tropical climate determines the unique malty taste of Assam tea, for which this tea is well known. Assam tea is rich in antioxidants and minerals that support a healthy immune system, protect against free radicals, and also Assam, like all black teas, improves digestion.
