GURMAN'S CHAI black tea 

A traditional mixture of warming spices for a timeless ritual. 

Legend has it that chai appeared more than 5000 years ago, when the king of present-day India ordered the creation of a healing spiced drink for Ayurveda - a traditional medical practice in which herbs and spices are used for treatment. After the healing drink spread throughout India, various spices were used to prepare the drink, depending on the region of the continent or even the area where the drink was brewed. Cinnamon contained in Gurman's Chai acts as an antioxidant, protects the body from free radicals, can help regulate blood glucose levels and improve metabolism. Ginger contained in tea has anti-inflammatory properties, strengthens the immune system, and when used in combination with black pepper can help with impaired digestion. The antiseptic properties of cloves help relieve pain, and cardamom is used as a relaxing and soothing spice.  

Ingredients: Black tea, cinnamon bits, ginger bits, cloves, cardamom, black pepper.

Preparation: 1 tea spoon; 100 ⁰C; min. 2-3.
