GURMAN'S EN SHI YU LU, green tea

En Shi Yu Lu tea got its name from the city of En Shi in Hubei Province. The soil in the area is famous for its selenium reserves, so it is more abundant in tea plants than in other areas. En Shi Yu Lu tea is also distinguished by the fact that it is processed using the Japanese steam method. Maybe that’s why the Japanese call it Chinese Gyokuro. The herbs are intense green with an almost emerald color and a pleasant aroma. The drink has a mild taste and perfectly quenches thirst.
