GURMAN'S Moonlight – black tea
Moonlight is a large-leaf black tea from the Pu-erh region of China. It is produced from the same wild tea trees used to make Silver Moonlight white tea.
These tea trees are approximately 300–500 years old. Their naturally large leaves give the tea a rich taste and an expressive aroma that sets it apart from many commonly available black teas.
According to local tradition, the name Moonlight originated from the practice of picking the tea leaves at night under the light of the moon. This story has become an inseparable part of the tea’s history.
Once brewed, the tea reveals an intense aroma with sweet honey and floral notes. Its taste is rich, smooth and lingering, making it suitable for both black and green tea enthusiasts.
