GURMAN'S GUATEMALA GENUINE ANTIQUA ESTATE, coffee beans 

Guatemala Antigua coffee is grown in the region of Antigua, surrounded by three volcanoes – Agua, Acatenango and Fuego. It is one of the most famous coffee regions in the world: fertile volcanic soils, altitude (1500-1700 m above sea level) and a favorable climate create ideal conditions for Arabica beans to mature slowly, developing a rich, complex taste.

This coffee has a rich body, balanced acidity and expressive taste: notes of chocolate, caramel, nut, light fruitiness and delicate spices. The aroma is intense and mildly sweet, with hints of chocolate and spices.

Antigua farms often follow traditional and organic farming methods. The beans are processed in a wet way that brings out natural fruitiness and clean taste.

Suitable for preparation: scalding or French pressing

Roasting: medium
