Its flavour reveals light notes of freshly cut grass, complemented by a pleasant, gently astringent finish characteristic of matcha tea. It is ideal for traditional preparation with water, as well as for matcha lattes, iced drinks, smoothies and a variety of desserts.
Preparation
Step / parameter Recommendation Amount 2 g of matcha powder / 200 ml Water temperature 70–80 °C Method Add the matcha powder to a bowl, pour in a small amount of water and whisk briskly with a bamboo whisk (chasen) in a “W” motion until a light foam forms.
